Let's Talk Shift

Where the real shift matters

About Us

Let's Talk Shift was born out of a simple observation: no matter the industry, people are frustrated.

-The workers feel management doesn't listen.

-Management feels employees don't care.

-Experienced workers feel the younger generation lacks work ethic.

-Younger workers feel they aren't being heard, supported, or developed.

Everyone is pointing fingers, morale is declining, and workplaces are becoming increasingly disconnected.

After years of working across social services, construction, maintenance, leadership, and FIFO environments, one thing became clear:

The problem isn't one group or another.

The problem is the growing gap between them.

Too often, workplaces focus on policies, procedures, and processes while overlooking the people who make them work. Communication breaks down, trust erodes, accountability suffers, and culture becomes something everyone talks about but nobody knows how to fix.

That's where Let's Talk Shift comes in.

We're here to help organisations bridge the gap between leaders and teams, strengthen workplace culture, and create environments where people feel heard, valued, and motivated to contribute.

We don't believe in taking sides.

We believe in starting conversations.

Because the real shift isn't in the policy manual, the organisational chart, or the latest workplace trend.

It's in the conversations people are having—or avoiding—every day.

Let's Talk Shift. Where the real shift matters.

The Shift Supervisor

Let's Talk Shift is the passion project that spent years waiting for me to make the first move.

I don't have a fancy degree that gives me the right to tell you how to run your business... well, I do have a degree, but it isn't the kind that makes people immediately nod in approval.

When I tell people I have a Bachelor of Arts, they usually imagine finger painting and creative writing. In reality, my "art" is people.

I specialised in Sociology and Anthropology—fancy words for understanding how people, communities, and workplaces function together. Why people behave the way they do. Why some teams thrive while others struggle. Why communication breaks down. Why culture matters.

Combined with more than ten years of experience working with people across social services, construction, maintenance, leadership, and FIFO environments, those lessons have brought me here: helping businesses create workplaces where people actually want to be.

Looking back, I've always found myself in roles that prioritised people over policy. Whether supporting individuals through difficult circumstances, leading teams, or helping navigate workplace challenges, the common thread was always the same—people.

Not by design, but perhaps by divine intervention.

Let's Talk Shift is the result of everything I've learned along the way.

Because businesses don't thrive through policies alone. They thrive when their people do.

My goal is simple: to help organisations build stronger communication, stronger leadership, and stronger workplace cultures so they can stop surviving and start thriving.
